Before you submit a notice

SpotifyMody is an editorial publication. We review and discuss third-party software in the form of journalistic articles. We do not host the APK files discussed in our articles. If your complaint is about an APK file, the host of that APK file is the party to contact, not us.

If your complaint is about editorial content on this site — for example, a screenshot of the official Spotify app, a quoted excerpt of Spotify marketing copy, or a usage of the Spotify trademark in an editorial context — the template below applies.

  5. A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the rights-holder, its agent, or the law.

Where to send the notice

Send completed notices to legal@spotifymody.live. We respond within 5 business days.

Counter-notice

If you believe content removed under a DMCA notice was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Counter-notices must include: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the material removed and the location where it appeared before removal; (3) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; (4) your name, address, telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address.

Send counter-notices to legal@spotifymody.live. We forward counter-notices to the original complaining party and may restore the removed material at our discretion after 10–14 business days, in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(g).

Repeat infringers

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), we maintain a policy of terminating access for repeat infringers when appropriate.
